Going up to the Mutzig rock, 100 meters after the Porte de Pierre, leave the GR on the right, to take a small path which follows the ridge line. We start by walking along a dry stone wall and then weave between the rocks, always remaining on the ridge. Here and there, old markers are placed (some dating from 1844). Fun and wild alternative to the GR.
