You can find more about the glacier restaurant here:
    zugspitze.de/de/winter/berge/zugspitze/gastronomie/sonnalpin
Next to the restaurant there is also a toboggan run in summer. There are several toboggans available. And what is rare these days: The whole is free!

Great view from here. Accordingly full. Prices surprisingly "normal".

At the moment I can recommend a visit as it doesn't have a lot of tourists

Great restaurant at 2600m altitude. In addition, the glacier and the view. Just lovely!

If you want to go there, then but best of all the complete package, the view from here is also highly recommended.

Insider tip on the "other side" of the Zugspitze. Descent on foot, but signposted. Typical après ski hut for the ski season, but also open outside the ski season. My insider tip: ascend the Höllenklamm and descend the Alm. Approximately 12 hours walking time, good physical condition necessary.

Great view. Only partially very crowded because the station of the Bavarian Zugspitzbahn ends here and the onward journey with the gondola starts from here

If you have reached the Zugspitzblatt / Sonnalpin on foot, you have to be aware that here the classical Wanderfeeling stops, because at 2600m altitude you meet viiiiiiele people, mostly day trippers, who did not come on foot on the mountain;)

Otherwise, you get a lot here: Food & Drink on a great terrace, the access to the glacier train (on the Zugspitze) and of course you have a great view!
