On the website of the Höllentalangerhütte under "Touring conditions" you can always find up-to-date information about the conditions, e.g. the distance between the edge gaps, which sometimes becomes so large that it is hardly possible to reach the via ferrata. but that is individually different.

A wonderful mountain tour. Just don't forget that you are in the high alpine region. I.e. that a change in the weather is possible at any time. Appropriate clothing is therefore required, even if it is initially warm. For the glacier I recommend Steig Eisen, but the simple variant that is pulled over the shoe is sufficient.

Nice route over the glacier. Crampons / Grödel are definitely recommended - depending on the weather and snow conditions, a rope safety device may also be necessary (I can't quite judge because this was not the case with us). The access to the subsequent via ferrata over the edge gorge can be tricky and not entirely harmless.
