The Leaning Tower of Sensau is the church tower of the branch church of St. Martin. It was built with the massive saddle tower on a mountain slope. More than 100 years ago, the subsoil began to sink and the tower detached from the church (deviation of up to 1.20 m from plumb). The tower was underpinned in 1955 and has stood firm again since then, but has remained the “leaning tower” ever since. Source: excerpt from Wikipedia
