The building of the former entrance gate located in the eastern part of the city park in Skierniewice. The gate was built in the years 1770-1780 during the reign of Archbishop Antoni Kazimierz Ostrowski according to the design of the architect Efraim Szreger.
On its walls you can see commemorative plaques, including those dedicated to the 500th anniversary of obtaining city rights and a plaque built in the interwar period in tribute to the residents of the city and district who died in the years 1914-1920.
Its purpose was to serve high state and church dignitaries.
