Tips
The road towpath was named after the then along the Alster leading leash or towpath, were pulled on the barges on lines upriver (tiled). The villas are located on the former wet meadows, while the towpath leads along Alsterstreek; therefore this is often mistaken for the towpath.
Today it is a posh residential area. Recently, the road was turned into a bicycle lane. It is beautiful along the Alsterlauf and there are left and right many beautiful villas to look at.translated by
