At the entrance to the Munster valley, above the former cutlery of Staufen, a porphyry rock with a lookout tower protrudes into the Upper Rhine plain. In the vicinity of the rock grows a light oak forest in which the white forest bird blooms. A small trail that starts below the rock at the swimming pool leads up to the ridge with the rock.
