Fornalutx is a village of 700 souls in the Serra de Tramuntana. With its narrow winding streets, the quarry stone houses and stone steps, the place is an architectural gem on the west coast of Mallorca. Fornalutx has twice been voted the "most beautiful village in Spain".

Cycling

Part of the UNESCO World Heritage Tramuntanta Mountains, the town of Fornalutx exemplifies the architecture of the region. The valleys and slopes all around are characterized by citrus and olive groves. You can explore the area wonderfully by bike or on foot. In Fornalutx itself there are a few small cafes, a small shop, an ice cream parlor and a few galleries. Due to the awards and the many tourists, the place is now heavily influenced by tourism and has been modernized.
