For me the most beautiful section of the Elbe Cycle Path in Saxon Switzerland. I always like to drive because it offers great views of the Elbe sandstone and is not so busy. Best drive on a Sunday morning.

Magnificent! Passing the high sandstone cliffs of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, you feel truly small. The asphalt is new and rolling! Only in Decin does the road bump for a short stretch.

Anyone coming from Dresden will find their peace here again, as this section is not really busy. Asphalt is great for this and there are beautiful views of the mountains on the other bank of the Elbe.
