There is a pond in the western area of the Georgengarten. The curved stone Augustenbrücke, designed by Georg Ludwig Friedrich Laves in 1840, crosses the narrowest part of this park pond. It is a popular subject for amateur photographers. In the immediate vicinity is the Leibniz Temple, a monument in honor of the great scholar Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. The rotunda with its 12 Ionic columns stands on a small hill right next to the pond. At the back of the pond is another bridge from Laves. The iron bridge from 1837 is the oldest bridge in Laves.

Many beautiful moments. Greylag geese, sea turtles sunbathing and many other animals. Nice places to take a break by the water.
