The writer Ehm Welk spent the last years of his career and life from 1950 to 1966 in this house, located at the northern exit of Bad Doberan, directly on the Mollischienen and Lindenallee in the direction of Heiligendamm. His wife Agathe Welk lived here for another eight years until her death in 1974.
