Boitzenburg Castle - one of the largest castles in the Uckermark, located on a small island between the kitchen pond and the large and small carp pond, was the ancestral seat of the von Arnim family for several centuries. Today it houses a children's and youth hotel.The associated, freely accessible landscape park was designed around 1840 in the English style by the Prussian garden artist and General Garden Director of the Royal Prussian Gardens Peter Joseph Lenné.
