The area of the English Garden north of the Mittlerer Ring is also called Hirschau, after the historical name for the entire area on the Isar in the north of the city. The beer garden of the same name is best known there, otherwise it is much quieter than in the southern part and the urban nature can take up more space. That will probably change: there are many proponents of a park tunnel that will lower the street and bring the two parts of the park back together in the green. On the one hand a nice thought, on the other hand a lock opening. You are smarter afterwards.

The northern part is not as crowded as the southern one. Very nice. There is a horse meadow with obstacles.
A positive thing about the parking tunnel would definitely be that car noise is reduced.

The extensive northern part of the English Garden stretches to the Aumeister on Föhringer Ring.
