The steles are located on Oranienburger Chaussee/Nohlstrasse. They are part of a project by the Berlin Wall Foundation in cooperation with the urban development company Grün Berlin. As part of the project, a total of 29 steles for 50 victims of the Wall were erected along the Berlin Wall Trail.
