Around 1800 the nave was used as a grain store.
Since 1824 it was the Landwehr armory of the Prussian army.
From 1945 - 1957 the building served as an emergency church.
Since 1983 it has found its function as a civic center.

In any case, it has the most moving history of all Minden churches. Used by different religious communities, used as a storehouse, after the Second World War as an emergency church and today as a cultural center with a diverse program.
