The canal branching off from the Würm in Pasing runs between Pasing and Obermenzing towards Nymphenburg Palace, in a straight extension of the park's central canal axis. After entering the castle park at the "Pasinger Tor", he first feeds the "Great Cascade" and then the entire water system of the park including the lakes. The pumping stations for the fountains in the castle park are also powered by its water. Created 1701-1703 under Elector Max Emanuel.
Today a wonderful pedestrian connection in the west of Munich, shady and mostly quiet.
