The first news of the ecclesiastical complex dates back to 1378. It took on its current appearance in the 18th century, following a restoration that profoundly transformed it.
The church of San Biagio di San Chierlo stands isolated and elevated on a slope overlooking the Lavino valley, preceded by a monumental uphill avenue surrounded by low cypresses. Peculiar the duotone of the cantonal doubled in the gabled facade. Inside, the exposed wooden trusses stand out in the austere hall without decorations.
