From the park of the Jesuit college you have a wonderful view over the city. Winding paths and stairs lead down and you can reach the Elbe very quickly.

At the confluence of the Elbe and Ohře rivers lies one of the most beautiful Czech cities, the former royal city of Litoměřice.
Historic houses, lookout towers, underground cellars, museums and galleries, the Bohemian Garden, wine, good restaurants, quality accommodation, sports and entertainment, the beautiful landscape of the Bohemian Central Mountains, castles and chateaux in the vicinity. This is just a small list of reasons to visit Litoměřice. Come and be enchanted.Among the attractions in the immediate surroundings of Litoměřice are Mostná hora hill with an observation tower and excursion restaurant, as well as the isolated Radobyl hill, from which there is a beautiful view of the Polabean Plain and the České středohoří. Part of this hill is a natural monument. The cross at the top reminds of the pagan shrine that once stood here. The stone on which the Mach monument was symbolically erected in 1938 near the city walls also comes from Radobýl. To the north of the city there is also the national natural monument Bílá strána. Here you will find thermophilic communities with specially protected species. Litoměřice is located in the protected landscape area of the České středohoří. Through the Elbe gorge called Porta Bohemica you enter a picturesque corner of the region. The Elbe River is lined with vineyards from Velké Žernoseke to Litoměřice, which continue the tradition of growing wine established by Charles IV.
The landscape of the Český středohoří attracts more and more tourists every year. The most interesting places include the castles of Libochovice, which is one of the most important Baroque monuments in the Czech Republic, and Ploskovice, whose park was originally conceived as a small Versailles. The ruins of numerous castles, the lookout tower on Varhošta, rising at a height of 639 m.a.s.l. and from where you can see 8 times the level of the Elbe, the queen of the mountains Milešovka and many other places. The area also boasts a number of cycle routes and educational trails. However, the most remarkable remains the royal city of Litoměřice with its landmark – the Kalich observation tower, which tests the fitness of every visitor after climbing 153 steps. The city boasts a number of galleries, museums, and offers plenty of opportunities to spend time here.
