A Roman Catholic church first mentioned in 1326, which has been rebuilt multiple times following devastating fires in 1622 and 1748. The current late Baroque structure was completed in 1754 under the direction of court architect Christian Jähne, incorporating walls from the previous building.

The church houses a crypt containing the remains of thirteen members of the Promnitz family, former lords of Pszczyna.
