Tips
From the main town of Prechtal, the road towards Schonach still leads in unexploited condition. The narrow and winding, but well-built little street still has the original charm of an old country road and passes by some farms and hamlets of Prechtal. After approx. 4 km, the modern-developed section begins, which reaches as far as Schonach. Although the valley is still highly recommended, the new line for cycling is not nearly as nice as the lower section.
