This section is sometimes very steep and possibly not critical in wet conditions, but it offers a sensational view of the valley.

The Zirmgrat stretches between Füssen and Pfronten and is separated from the Tannheimer Mountains by the wide Vilstal valley. With the four-lake view, a magnificent view of the Tannheimer and the Falkenstein castle ruins, this ridge path offers a number of treats.

A great tightrope walk between Einekopf and Salober that is absolutely worth it. It's best to actually walk at the top of the ridge. There are a few short, steep, scrambling passages that are even insured with ropes. But it's easy to do with a healthy level of sure-footedness and a little head for heights. The views are absolutely worth it.
