The castle complex today consists of 11 buildings. Buchenau Castle is also known as Schenck Castle.

The venerable 17th-century Buchenau Castle now offers peace and relaxation as a seminar and conference hotel.

During their stay, seminar participants can stay overnight in one of the modern hotel rooms.
