Top cycling routes to Klausmarbach Viaduct

Tips

  • For me it is always something special to drive over this bridge. The viaduct near Klausmarbach used to be used as a railway line. In 1938, the 120 meter long bridge was significantly widened so that it could also be used on two tracks. The bridge is 32 meters high and has five sandstone arches, each 18 meters long. Today it is used as a cycle path and a beautiful rest and vantage point has emerged.

  • It's impressive when you stand up on the railing and look down. I didn't think the viaduct was that high.
