There are many places related to Riedel in Tychy. One of the most important is the bus stop at ul. Niepodległości, opposite the City Library, from where he traveled "out into the world" many times. In 2011, this is where the sculpture depicting the artist in his favorite shoes - cowboy boots, jeans and a wide-brimmed hat was placed. The statue of Rysiek Riedel was made by a sculptor from Tychy, Tomasz Wenklar. The fans of Dżem and Rysiek Riedel often visit his favorite pub in Tychy, "Pod Jesionami", and the grave at the cemetery in Wartogłowiec.
