Half-timbered house with an integrated clock – you don't see that very often. The coloring is really well done.

The high, three-storey half-timbered building of the town hall with its gabled roof divides the market square into two parts: the so-called "small market square" with the market fountain and the square where the weekly and annual markets are held today. The town hall was built around 1440, expanded in 1562 and rebuilt in 1907/08. Up until the middle of the 19th century, bakers and butchers sold their products on the open ground floor. After that, the now closed ground floor was Fruchtschranne (fruit market) until 1939. Other interesting details are the council hall (16th century), the council chamber (early 20th century) and the arcade with a row of coats of arms in front of the building (1907/08).
Almost the entire city administration is still housed in the building today.
