Tips

  • Roman Domhardt + Zera vom Laucherttal

This is a mad canyon, wild romantic, mystical, mysterious, to put it simply "bombastic"

When the soil is softened, the Wolfsschlucht and the adjacent paths are not recommended. Since there are hardly any fuses there is an acute danger of falling!

If you have a vial with you, you can tap off spring water. Ice cold and fresh!

A highlight of the tour. I just do not know what happened when it rained a lot.
Whether you still come through, no idea.

Fascinating gorge. With the help of a steel ladder, it goes down first. Then a path made of stone steps along an enclosed stream. Wildly romantic as from another world.

A great narrow path leads through the Wolfsschlucht. There is a steel staircase at the entrance from the Hohenwittlingen parking lot.

Very nice and entertaining path along and through the gorge. However, surefootedness is required.

Today the gorge was completely without water. Probably also because of Corona 😏

Beautiful gorge, unfortunately dried up. You should have good shoes. Some places on the way are very narrow and slippery.
    Especially nice on hot days.

A dreamlike gorge in a wonderful hiking area. Sturdy shoes and surefootedness must be available, however, the paths are very slippery when wet.

In the winter it is currently carrying water with giant icicles. Be careful, slippery
