    Hiking

The Mallemolen or Molen van de Oostpolder in Schieland is a windmill on the Waddinxveense Wetering in the Dutch town of Gouda.

The mill was built in 1804 as a polder mill, on behalf of the Ambacht Moordrecht. In 1863 the mill was transferred to the newly established Oostpolder in Schieland. The Mallemolen remained in operation until 1904. In that year a pumping station was built near the mill, which was driven by a suction gas engine. A year later, the mill was dismantled to be converted into a home for the driver of the pumping station.
