On the racing bike to to watch Paris-Roubaix there. In the 80s, we cycled the tourist version of this cobbled classic together. Extra nice to watch together then. We took a short walk together before it got exciting. I had brought a camera with a Lens Baby Sweet 22 on it. That lens gives

Due to my winter sports and Paul's holiday to Suriname, our weekly walk had been postponed for a while. Today we picked up the thread again with a round of Hoge Bergse Bos. Had a nice walk, had a nice chat. Watch out for the photo of the great crested grebe!

Got to work a bit earlier. The goal was to get some fresh air for two hours with my hands on the handlebars. However, the wind was fierce and I had enough after an hour.

Up early this morning for a walk to our daughter and son-in-law. It was certainly worth it, because they had gone to a lot of trouble for the Easter breakfast! After coffee, back home to put on the hiking boots for the 'real' work.

The plan was the Zwarte Stern/Berkenwoudse Driehoek, but the Kattendijk

Mirjam had to be in Deurne to try on a suit at Addy's (yes, that one). With the current petrol prices, you don't just drive back and forth for a fitting. So combined with a walk and a bite to eat. It is strange to go out for a day with fancy shoes for a fitting and hiking boots. A stone's throw from

With and a group of friends, we spent a weekend in Lille. On Saturday, we did this city walk including: Porte de Gand, Birthplace of De Gaulle, The Zoo (small but nice), The Citadel, Monument of the carrier pigeon (fascinating why!!!), Old town. Lit a candle in that magnificent cathedral

Go buy ducks in my city. Of course by metro because as much as I like Rotterdam... driving in that city is not fun and parking is unaffordable. Plus the metro is just relaxing.

The plan was to walk past various greenhouses in the dark. We thought that could be an interesting photo opportunity. Especially with a fairly clear sky. The energy crisis is apparently being felt here too, because the lights were out EVERYWHERE. Nice walk, nice chat, but no beautiful photos of illuminated greenhouses ;-)
