The Erasmus Monument in Gouda is a bronze bust of Desiderius Erasmus, created by sculptor Hildo Krop in 1950. It stands in the Willem Vroesen Garden behind St. John's Church and commemorates Erasmus's youth in Gouda. The statue was once lost in Suriname and returned to the city in 2009. It is part of the Erasmus Audio Trail, a walking route that takes you past places connected to Erasmus.
