Grömitz Pier and Dive Gondola

At the top of the 398 meter long pier in the Baltic Sea resort of Grömitz in Holstein, a diving gondola takes visitors dry-footed into the world beneath the waves.During the dive, the employees give an introduction to the Baltic Sea habitat, its inhabitants, special features and its need for protection. They provide information about the animals and plants that can be observed on the seabed and in the open water depending on visibility and season: crabs, mussels, jellyfish, shrimp, tiny green and bottom-dwelling algae, gobies and other fish.

It goes about 400 m into the sea. The diving gondola is the highlight. The view towards the country is stunning.
