The Saint-Pierre church in Sainte-Marie-Geest is a Romanesque, Romanesque-Gothic and neo-classical church located in Sainte-Marie-Geest, a village in the Belgian municipality of Jodoigne, in the province of Walloon Brabant.
The current church comprises three parts built at different times1:the Romanesque tower was built during the second half of the 12th century;
the Romanesque chevet was replaced in the middle of the 13th century by a Romanesque-Gothic transition style chevet;
the old nave was replaced by a nave and side aisles in the neo-classical style in 1887 by the provincial architect Émile Coulon2.
Its Romanesque tower and its "Romanesque-ogival choir" have been classified as historical monuments since August 3, 1956.

The church of Sainte-Marie-Geest has Saint Peter as its patron saint, the Virgin Mary is only a secondary patron saint. For a long time, the parish priest of Sainte-Marie had to fight for his salary or his residence.
Although the church, according to Tarlier and Wauters, is very small and modest, it is of some archaeological interest. It consists of a single nave dating from different periods. The oldest part is the choir, which ends in a semicircular apse, the cornice of which rests on buttress pilasters between which, in groups of three, are placed arched arcades, some of which rest on consoles [with perfectly preserved human heads.
