The graves of the Krupp family are in a separate area in the middle of the cemetery and are laid out very pompously. Many of the graves have already been through various "relocations" in Essen: The first graves were originally located in the Krupp cemetery south of Essen's main train station, which at some point had to make way for the expansion of the train station.
