The 26 meter high central tower, the city tower in the old town of Bischofsheim a.d. Rhön, across from the clearing town hall is the landmark of the small town in the Rhön. 🥾🥾

Hiking

The tithe tower was originally the tower of the Romanesque church from the 13th century. When the new late Gothic Georgskirche was built in 1607-1607, the tower remained free. In 1965-1966, the Georgskirche was extended to the west, closing the gap to the tithe tower.
