The Museumschmiede has become a meeting place where people meet every Friday in even calendar weeks for chats and announced events.
There is a functioning blacksmith shop in the museum forge, where blacksmithing demonstrations take place on special occasions. The forge was a donation from the Wried family from Rendsburg and was part of the Neuwerker forge.
