Located in the immediate vicinity of the Fröttmaning underground station (on the other side of the Allianz Arena) and opened in 2011, the Heide-Haus serves as an information and environmental education center for the heathland association Münchener Norden e.V. This is about the characteristic heath landscape in the north of Munich secure and develop. This includes not only the directly adjacent Südliche Fröttmaninger Heide, but also, for example, the Mallertshofer Holz and the Garchinger Heide. Various events are offered for hiking groups, school classes and holiday programs.
