Heute machten wir einen Abstecher ins Pustertal nach Bruneck. Es ging durch die Stadt am Fluss Rienz entlang und dann über eine schöne Runde an der Lambrechtsburg vorbei. Da sich diese Burg in Privatbesitz befindet, ist sie nicht für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich.
Durch das Örtchen Reischach und über schöne Waldwege…

Von Lappach zu den Raschtl Wasserfällen bis zum Mühlwalder See
Heute stand für den gesamten Tag Regen auf dem Radar. Egal!
Nach dem Frühstück ging es ab in die Regenklamotten und los.
Unser Plan stand fest: vom Hotel über den Talweg zu den Raschtl Wasserfällen und zum Mühlwalder See. Von dort aus mit dem Bus zurück ins Hotel.

Brezel & Bemme auf dem Panoramaweg im Schwarzatal 🚴🏼🚴🏻♂️
Heute mal bissl abseits von Rode…..aber auch nicht so weit weg.
Bad Blankenburg waren wir schon einmal zu Fuß.
Also früh schnell ne Runde gesucht und ab ging’s mit dem Auto.
Es fuhr sich echt schön, Temperaturen super….und dann kam die „Rampe“ 😄 ….wir waren ganz schnell am „Tellerende“ hinten…

A really wonderful gravel tour, although we didn't know beforehand that from kilometer 12 for about 7 km it was only uphill... partly up to 15% gradient. 🙄😅
Exactly my thing. 🤪
But we pushed through and finally arrived happily at the top, feeling like it took hours.
Absolutely recommended to do again without an e-bike. 😉

Ansonsten war durch die Tälerdörfer, sämtliche Stalltüren offen…..das hat gezogen….Wind natürlich von vorn 😄🤭

„Brezel“ & „Bemme“ am Geiseltalsee 🚴🏼🚴🏻♂️
Heute endlich die „erste“ gemeinsame Runde. Der Ort stand die ganze Zeit schon fest, nur die Umstände dafür standen bisher nicht so gut.
Aber wie immer, zeitig da gewesen….hatten wir die Strecke fast für uns.
Das eine oder andere muss noch nachjustiert werden…..dann laufen „Brezel“ & „Bemme“ schon sehr gut.…

Was gibt's "schönes" als bei 38°C Außentemperatur und 30°C Wohnrauminnentemperatur mit ner Sommergrippe und fiebrigen 39,5 °C und starken Dauerkopfschmerzen, dass einem die Schädeldecke wegfliegt, flach zu liegen?

Samstag, Sonne, Draußenzeit...
nach unserer morgendlichen 10 km Laufeinheit sollte es nur noch heißen, Beine hoch...so André !!!

3. Rhododendron -Blütenfest 🌺
Heute ging es zur Schloß- & Parkanlage Tannenfeld, wo dieses Wochenende wieder das Rhododendron- Blütenfest zelebriert wurde. Dieses Blütenmeer verzaubert einen immer wieder. Für das leibliche Wohl gab es allerlei Leckereien. Wir haben unsere Bäuche mit Roster, Kaffee, Kuchen und Eis genussvoll gesättigt. 🤭😋

PS: Since we are usually only car drivers, we are only using public transport here on vacation. It works really great here. The suedtirolmobil App is highly recommended here, as you can not only see when the bus is coming, but also whether it is on time or how many minutes it is delayed. Top! Big praise to the South Tyroleans.
