Hiking

Former cemetery with some sights such as the memorial to the soldiers who died in Essen hospitals from the Franco-German War of 1870/1871. There are also 2 memorial stones for those who died in the mine accidents in the Zeche Victoria Mathias and Zeche Amalie. In the northeast of the park there is still an old Jewish cemetery, which is not open to the public.
