A very nice little park with the Margarethe von Krupp monument. The small trees lining the avenue are also lovely, providing welcome shade, and there's a well-maintained little playground next door for children. For me, it's one of the nicest spots in Margarethenhöhe.

Ernst Theodor Haux was mainly active in the field of social housing construction of Friedrich Krupp AG and therefore significantly involved in the development of the settlement Margarethenhöhe. The place named after him is located between Ginsterweg and Waldlehne, directly at the school on the Waldlehne. First named on 19 September 1925 (Ernst Theodor Haux, 1863-1938, city councilor and Kruppian official)

"The sculpture 'The Sower' on Hauxplatz was initiated and donated by WIVEMA. The artist Joseph Enseling created it, as well as the Treasure Hunter Fountain (1912) and the plaque at the bridgehead (1935). The dedication and unveiling of this sculpture, which was intended to express the citizens' gratitude to the donor who had died in 1931, took place on May 31, 1934. Many citizens were present, and several honored guests lent special splendor to the ceremony. Oskar Heise's speech was even published in the press.
