A small round temple rises above the natural theater on artificial rocks. It is dedicated to Apollo, the god of light and fine arts. Inside, the marble, lyre-playing god watches over what is happening in the natural theater at his feet. The Temple of Apollo can only be reached via a branched network of irregular steps or via the grotto-like passages in the rock substructure. Out of darkness, as it were, the path leads man to the light.
