The Gumsenkogel is a lookout point over the Almtal. The best way to reach it is from the west over the ridge and the slightly higher situated Bauernkogel.
1st variant: Park your car at the "Zwillingskogel" car park N 47 ° 52.131 E 013 ° 54.988, walk a bit out of the valley and then left over the steep pulling path.
2nd variant: From the airport area, walk along trail 417 and at N 47 ° 52.655 E 013 ° 54.845 turn left onto a less visible path.
