Weis'Stue is one of the oldest houses in town and bears traces of many generations and different families of Ribe. The half-timbered house consists of two levels and eight intermediate rooms, with a wood-clay composite dating back to the 17th century. Weis'Stue was built on the foundations of a medieval house. The house is still furnished in the style of 1704, which contributes to the restaurant's unique flair. It is unknown who owned the house during the first 100 years of its history, but in 1704, the Thun family owned the house. In 1762, Cecile Thun sold the house to Anders Andersen Weiss. The Weis family ran their business here for four generations – around 152 years in total. In 1913, the building was sold to the city of Ribe, and extensive restorations were carried out on the old house. Among other things, a piece of wood inscribed with initials and the year 1704 was discovered. After the restoration, Weis'Stue was reopened as an inn and is still operated as an inn and hotel today.

The market square was very crowded, but the houses here are also very beautiful.

Weis Stue is one of Denmark's most beautiful and best-preserved inns and is located in the old town center of Ribe, Denmark's oldest city. The house's history dates back to the 16th century.

Weis Stue is divided into four cozy guest rooms, each with its own unique historic charm: Skænkstuen (the Tap Room), Vagtstuen (the Guard Room), Grøn stue (the Green Room), and Ribestuen (the Ribe Room).
Seven guest rooms are located on the first and second floors of the house.
