On the edge of the palace park, some epitaphs from the 18th century were set up by members of the Isenburg family of counts. With sometimes verbose inscriptions, they are reminiscent of the former state rulers.

Hiking

Extensive construction work is still underway here (as of February 2026). The epitaphs have been removed for safety reasons. It will be interesting to see what the site looks like after the redesign. A good reason to stop by from time to time.
