Today I wanted to do another decent MTB ride before the trails get washed away again. I had chosen the route towards Franzosenkopf, Hufeisen, which I rarely go there because, as far as trails go, it's a one-way street...

Whatever, I'll just take a leisurely ride back on the R3, I thought.

I was looking

Today, my goal was a nice, quiet walk and simply enjoying the beautiful day. The direction was immediately clear to me, and I won't be disappointed, and that's exactly how it was 🥰

I have to go over the Buchberg, but this time I managed to ignore all the trails to the right and left to get that holiday

With over 30 degrees Celsius, I can't think of anything better than torturing myself up the ridge again 😁 it's shady. And I rode flat, nice and flat, so nice and flat.

Today we did a short but very nice trail ride at home 🥲

We don't have any steep ramps, either up or down, no jumps or other nice things, no extreme heights, but we do have wonderful natural trails that are naturally beautiful and simply fun 🥰😍🤩😘😚☺️ and all without any special highlights 😊👍 and

We're dealing with devils 🤔 but they are beautiful spots 😁



Then it's easy and always beautiful along Hohe Straße. In this direction, it's more gravel than paved.

Then we continued directly onto Reffenstraße. If I read that correctly, these two belong together, or rather, are one.

Into my second living room 😊🥰 and the first 100 km/h this year, in beautiful weather. Perfect!

I cycled along regular bike paths, some of them greenbelt, towards Frankfurt. Through the Ostpark to the ECB and then along the Main to Kelsterbach. All easy but great views and often very green.

Now it was finally time for a mountain bike tour, which I had already planned.

I started in Wirtheim, where you're immediately in the middle of things, in the beautiful Spessart 🥰

Mostly on normal (gravel) paths, I headed towards the Bieberer Pfädchen, always with great views, in a beautiful area.

If something is being done for cyclists in our town of #bruchköbel and completely new bike paths are being built, then of course we have to appreciate it, and the best and easiest way is by using them.

So I set off.

We started along Hohe Straße, through Windecken. This little town has more to offer than you'd think... a castle, a witch's cottage, lovely little alleys... a stroll here isn't a bad idea.

Great, simply great. The whole area is a dream for hiking, even if not entirely easy. Many trails, some with safety ropes, narrow, on the slope but often with great views of the most beautiful nature. A stream below, above the gorge, fantastic.
