Konstanz Railway Station

The imposing station building - as mentioned by the previous speakers - inspired by the Palazzo Vecchio - is located almost directly on the shore of Lake Constance, right next to the Stadtgarten. In and around the train station, however, things are usually quite narrow and hectic.

The Konstanz train station is in close proximity to the port and the Swiss border.
It was opened on June 15, 1863 and built in the neo-Gothic and Renaissance style, modeled on the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
The station tower is a striking building in Konstanz and can be seen from the market square.

The train station is parallel to the lake shore. The reception building was built in 1863 in the neo-Gothic and Renaissance style, modeled on the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. The Fürstenbahnhof, a pavilion, has been preserved to the north of the reception building.
