Garden pavilion of the 18th century - Although the poet's house is no longer part of the landscape park, it is about 500m further west. Nevertheless, the building fulfilled the function of a garden pavilion, as was usual in the gardens of the 18th century. Furthermore, Friedrich Rückert is said to have written parts of his prose and poems in this solitude in the forest. It was certainly also the inspiring park that triggered a stimulus in his work. When the area was not yet taken over by the commercial forest, there was a wonderful view of the Bettenburg from here - in the sense of a point de vue. In the 19th century in particular, the poet's house and the park mutated into a popular local recreation destination for the people of Hofheim, who held their family celebrations and coffee visits here.
