The Westphalian Peace or Treaty of Westphalia was a series of peace treaties that were concluded between May 15 and October 24, 1648 in Münster and Osnabrück. They ended the Thirty Years War in the Holy Roman Empire and the Eighty Years War of Independence in the Netherlands.
