The water mill on the Goldbach is proven to be the oldest mill in Hagen a.T.W. It was first mentioned in documents in 1273. In that year, Gerhard and Agnes "de Gelenbeke" donated an annual pension from the mill to the monastery in Iburg.
The mill belongs to the Meyer zu Gellenbeck farm.
