The estate with its many lanes and country house was once owned by the Ledenboer family. Now the area is owned by Natuurmonumenten. And in spirit also a little bit by the Van der Aa family. Three generations of forest rangers have already worked on the Stippelberg. In gratitude for his decades of work, the boardwalk is now named after former forest ranger Paul van der Aa, who retired in 2020.
