The leprosy cross near Lüderbach is in the shape of a Latin cross. It is one of the historical rural monuments that can still be found in old cultural landscapes as witnesses to bygone times. The reason for its installation is no longer known; there is no contemporary written evidence. Only a few popular legends are told about it.
