Tips
Nice turnoff from the Bahntrassenradweg "Allee des Wandels". The short path leads over the former railway line to the Blumenthal 1/2/6 colliery and is a nice alternative road on the southern edge of Recklinghausen. At Ostende you come to the former colliery, especially the old locomotive shed over - exciting Ruhr area cycling! The path is partly paved, partly you ride on water-bound ceiling.

Beautiful and low-traffic connection between Hochlar and Hillen on the former railway line. Good usable as a feeder to the avenue of change. Only the horrible and always red traffic light on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße disturbs the driving pleasure a little.
